As a Manifesting Generator, we always have the energy to do what we love doing, right? But getting a good night’s sleep can be elusive. I mean, there is nothing more frustrating than working out + STILL not being able to sleep!
 
So, why is that? I was recently reminded that we are a combination of Manifestor Energy AND Generator Energy…not JUST Generator as some will tell you.
Sleep better as a Manifesting Generator
While we really can’t initiate by just talking about something that we want and informing like a manifestor, we can initiate by asking questions in order to get the ball rolling, right?
 
On the other hand, being also a generator-type, responding to what is popping up outside of us is key for us to be in the right place at the right time for the best opportunity.

 

As Manifesting Generators, we are a mix of Manifestor + Generator.  A little of this + a bit of that. 

So, how does that affect our sleep?  Well, I realized that being a mix also means that we need to express our creative energy throughout the day as a Manifestor does by doing things like creative problem-solving or traditionally creative like arts, writing, music or dance.  Now, don’t get me wrong…we don’t necessarily have to be really good at it like Picasso but doing some thing decorating the house for Halloween would be a way of expressing that creative energy.
 
You can also be creatively changing things on your website or helping the kids with their English homework like brainstorming ideas when they are writing a paper…that is creative energy. 
 
We also need to make sure that we do some thing physically active each day in order to sleep better like walking the dog, taking a walk yourself, or doing yoga.
 
To help you out, here are 5 things you can do to sleep better as a Human Design Manifesting Generator:
 
for creative expression: write your blog, create memes, decorate the house, cook/baking, update website
for physical activity: walk the dog, dance, gardening, workout, do Yoga
 
Just keep doing it until you feel empty or done. I take a shower or wash my hands to relax enough to sleep.
